Hi my name is Taine.I have been reading about science books  (which is very creative) about dinosaurs, fossils and other science stuff. 
This week I have been reading The Dangerous Book for Boys.
I like the part about all the spiders. The jumping spider was the best because it doesn't bite like the other ones do.

Recently i have been reading Lola Rose by Jacqueline Wilson. It is the best book i have ever read because it reminds me that to always stay strong. At the end of every chapter i always want to read on. You should read it.

Tomorrow when the world began series

I recently read the tomorrow when the world began series. I started the first of seven books at the start of the holidays for the book fair. The book is about a group of teenagers who go away into the bush for a holiday. There is a rumor of an old hermit that lived down there and the teenagers want to find his house. The teenagers find the hermit's house and spend a week down there. In the night the teenagers here lots of planes go through the valley. When the teenagers come out they see  their  houses are deserted and their animals are  dying.

If you're looking for a series that keeps you reading try the Ugly series by Scott Westerfield! The books in order go; Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras. It  all starts with a girl called Tally Youngblood, where she lives everyone is obseesed with being pretty. But you can only be turned Pretty once you are sixteen. When Tally finds out about  a place that everyone is ugly and doesn't care about thier looks will she decide to turn or will she join these mystery people.

The hobbit, has now been made into a movie, and is top of the movie list for my family. We are addicted Lord of the Rings and The hobbit. The hobbit is about a simple hobbit who never goes on any adventures or any unusual things. Bilbo Baggins, He travels deep into the Misty Mountains cold in search for their log lost forgotten gold as a burglur for 13 dwarfs, Dwalin Balin, Kili, Fili, Nori, Dori, Ori, Oin, Gloin, Bombur, Bofur, Bifur and Thorin Oakinsheild the great dwarf descendent. He also travels along for a bit with Gandalf the wizard. They travel to the lonely mountain to raclaim their long lost gold which was stolen by the dragon Smaug who guards it deep down in the centre of the mountain, to avoid it being retaken by the dwarfs.
If you are interested in fantasy and wars read The Hobbit or There and Back again a hobbits tale. Then go on to read the Lord of the rings series. All written by J.R.R.Tolkein.
